- Advocating for members, patients, families and the end of life caregiving community by promoting public policy in the legislature and with regulatory agencies that support improvements in end-of-life care
- Sponsoring educational programs that build knowledge and skills of hospice and palliative care professionals and volunteers
- Enhancing awareness of end of life care by providing information and referrals to the public as well as health and human service professionals
- Fostering innovation to improve end of life care through collaboration, information and networking
Last year, hospice and palliative care member programs provided care to more than 21,000 terminally ill patients and their families. In addition to its hospice and palliative care members, organizations, businesses and individuals who support its mission are welcome as Federation members.
